Materials Procurement

Caton’s procurement team uses state of the art MRP technology to maintain inventory of both common and uncommon electrical components and wire at specific demand levels.  The resulting savings are passed on to our customers. Highly trained and experienced stockroom personnel work in tandem with our engineering and production departments to ensure the exact amount of materials required for each job are available when required.

As part of its Continuous Improvement Program, Caton’s procurement team exercises quarterly efforts to locate and secure new vendors in order to minimize cost while maximizing the availability of materials. Caton’s current database contains over 7000 active vendors who stock both commercial and military grade electrical components.
