Caton Connector Corporation was founded in 1973 with a single focus: engineer high-voltage cable assemblies that perform reliably over the life of a program. That focus has never changed.
An engineering company. Not a commodity supplier.
We thrive on custom work. The problems other suppliers won't touch are the ones we're most interested in. When a supplier goes out of business and a program is stranded, we step in and redesign the assembly to keep the program alive. When a system requires something that doesn't exist in any catalog, we engineer it from first principles.
We test everything in-house — corona, hi-pot, altitude, thermal cycling, accelerated life, burn-in. Our engineers are on the floor, not in an office. Our quality team is in production, not reviewing paperwork after the fact. We overmold and insert mold in-house because controlling that process is the only way to guarantee the result.
We operate under lean and Shingo principles because we believe quality belongs at the source — in the hands of the people building the assembly, not in an inspection step at the end of the line.
