Our ideal customer

What makes a program a strong fit

Up to 250 kV
— engineered and tested to program requirements
We work directly with OEM engineering teams. Even when production flows through Tier 1 or Tier 2 suppliers, Caton remains the technical authority for the high-voltage assembly. That is how programs stay stable.

Our ideal customer is an OEM or engineering organization that owns system design and performance requirements, and needs a high-voltage partner who understands electrical behavior — not just a vendor who builds to print.

  • Voltage performance up to 250 kV — engineered and tested to program requirements
  • Corona control, insulation integrity, and long-term electrical reliability
  • Design-for-manufacturability input during development
  • Full traceability — lot or serial, as required by program
  • First Article Inspection and controlled configuration management
  • Long-term product consistency, not short-term sourcing
  • AS9100-level discipline and aerospace-grade documentation

We specialize in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing. Some programs run at higher volumes, but every assembly — regardless of quantity — is built with the same engineering rigor and process control as our most demanding aerospace work.

Choose your path

We serve different roles differently

Your role determines what matters most. Select the path that fits how you engage with high-voltage cable assembly suppliers.

01
Design Engineers
You own electrical performance and reliability. You need an engineering partner who can evaluate the complete interconnect system — insulation architecture, field geometry, and termination design — not just build to your drawing.

02
Buyers & Procurement
You own supplier stability, compliance documentation, and supply chain risk. You need a supplier with AS9100 discipline, ITAR compliance, and a track record of consistent execution over the long term.

03
Program Managers
You own schedule, qualification milestones, and program health. You need a supplier who delivers on time, maintains configuration discipline, and doesn't introduce risk after design release.
04
Scientific & R&D Engineers
You push voltage, geometry, and materials to their limits. You need a manufacturer who can work at the edge of what's possible — non-standard configurations, extreme voltage requirements, and rapid iteration.
05
Industrial OEM Teams
You build platforms that must run every day. You need a supplier who delivers consistent assemblies on schedule, supports repeat production without degradation in quality, and doesn't require constant oversight.
