Kingston, MA – High voltage connector and cable assembly specialist, Caton Connector Corp, recently attended the premier event in Applied Power Electronics – APEC 2016. The show focuses on the practical and applied aspects of the power electronics business offering a comprehensive technical program and exposition. Technical presentations had a record number of submittals from 45 countries and the exposition also hit a record high participation with more than 260 exhibitors showcasing various industry technologies, products and solutions. This years’ event was held at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, CA.
“Having been away from the trade show circuit for a number of years, expectations were mixed,” says Gary Paul, Business Development Manager for Caton. “With expenses and logistics the focus often becomes the return on investment. However, the intangibles are more often just as important. With a show like APEC, we are gaining access to our target audience, the design and development community. With that in mind, I feel the show was a success.”
Next year the exposition moves to Tampa, FL where Caton has already secured their site. Future events will include Sea-Air-Space 2016 at the Gaylord Convention Center in National Harbor, MD – May 16 -18th.
